Prestigous prize for conductor Tomáš Brauner

One of the most prestigious international conducting competitions

- the Dimitris Mitropoulos Competition - was held in Athens (October 29 - November 3 2010). One of the CNSO guest conductors, Tomáš Brauner, was awarded the third prize at this contest. The prize includes conducting opportunity with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra in the Konzerthaus, Vienna, and with the Orchestra of Colours in Athens. Conductor Claus Peter Flor chaired the jury of this year's annual, with the participation of 217 young conductors. Many great personalities started their career in such competition including Zdeněk Košler, Petr Altrichter, or Claudio Abbado.
