Trumpet Summit

Extraordinary concert - as expected.

Under the baton of one of the most versatile and prolific composer-arranger- conductors of the last two decades, multi-Grammy Award winner Vince Mendoza the CNSO and St. Blaise's Big band gathered in the Municipal House to accompany the three amazing trumpet soloists – Randy Brecker, Bobby Shew and Jan Hasenöhrl.

The overflowing Smetana Hall was bursting with enthusiasm both on stage and in the auditorium. Undoubtedly, this was one of the best nights of the current anniversary season! For those who were not able to get there we have a great news: The Czech TV and studio Marecam were recording the performance, and we will soon inform you about the date of broadcast. Also, the DVD will be released later on.
