Gustav Mahler – Symphony No. 9

Mahler's final completed symphony was on program of the CNSO concert series on January 13.

Under the baton of the orchestra Chief-conductor Libor Pešek, the symphony was also recorded life, as it will become part of the CNSO complete Mahler's symphonies project. It's a big challenge to finish such project, and the CNSO with their Chief-conductor will soon join world greatest orchestras that set out to go through such challenge.

The enthusiastic applause from the full house at the end of this beautiful, but quite long and demanding work, lighted up both the orchestra players and Maestro Pešek.
