A Grateful Tail Symphony

Murray Abraham's performance filled the orchestra with enthusiasm as well as it did with the audience, according to their response after the concert.
The charismatic performance of the American actor went hand in hand with his timbre and style. Composed by Steven Mercurio, the music with its „Broadway sound” exactly matched with the moving Eugene O'Neill's text. Beethoven's Piano Concerto performed by Rachel Skleničková intensified the overall impression of the evening. The unceasing applause of the visitors holding wet handkerchiefs gave a clear evidence about the atmosphere in the Smetana Hall.
