Dinara Alieva Earns Enthusiastic Ovation

The CNSO 21st concert season has not yet begun and the Smetana Hall saw the full house. Featuring an amazing soprano Dinara Alieva on program of the special concert were Verdi's arias and overtures.

The soloist of The Bolshoi Theatre was singing with an incredible vigor, appetite, accuracy, confidence, and an unbelievable range of expression. Marcello Rota reaffirmed that Italian music is his territory and he conducted the orchestra and choir with grace and temperament. Without exaggeration this was an extraordinary concert celebrating the 200th birth anniversary of Giuseppe Verdi.
